As I read the postings and rationalizations about the decision to end the AOL Journals I continued to get more irate with each thing I read.

Seems the stellar idea came from Kevin Conroy, who on JULY 14, decided to send AOL Journals "into the sunset." Here is the link to his email, and my added comment that I hope the soon sent him "into the sunset."

It states how you can move it manually (thinking years here, cutting and pasting entrys from January 2004. ); or how they will have a set up to help us move out entrys via some system they are devising. I hope everyone waits and it costs them much more than it would have to leave the journals like they were.

  1. Claudia, it's all about the money. The ads weren't generating any revenue for AOL, and that's the bottom line. Sad, but that's the way it is. As you continue to explore, I hope you'll like it a little more. Ken and I are already liking it better in some ways.

  2. I am still trying to figure out how to find the comments left. I found your comments but don't know how I got there. LOL
I left a comment for Kevin Conroy that I said I hope he goes off into the sunset.
Honestly, they should have given more time for everyone to move things. I can do it, but there are probably a lot of people who are clueless about the process.
