BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE.....

Today I was off.....Had a real exciting day going to the doctor and having a few benign skin lesions removed. I love that word, LESIONS. Yesterday I worked 16 hours and had to get up early for a departmental meeting (it wasn't mandatory but close to it) and I had an appointment at 8:15 AM to have things removed. So I got paid for 1 1/2 hours and went to breakfast with Chuck. I had not been out to breakfast for a long time, I do not consider breakfast at the hospital as being "out."

I did a few errands and actually went home and took a two hour nap. When I got home at 11 PM last night and then could not fall asleep, even though I was exhausted....Got up at 5 AM and off to do my required things.

It is snowing and blowing. Along with everyone in the Midwest and Northest, it is freezing arse cold......I have a thermostat that sets back at night. I think I will set it at 68F and let the furnace work all night. The coldest I can remember in western PA is -22 below, I was on call and up all night and all I wanted to do was go home and get warm. I think it was 1993 or possibly 1994, I think it was a winter that Emily will be telling her grandchildren how cold it was and she had to walk to school uphill both ways........

Guess I will have to find and wear my long-johns.....iIknow the're here somewherer. I am all excited..........Trivia begins tomorrow......I know a lot of useless knowledge and playing Trivia is the place for me....it is in a bar and we ear and have a drink or two and try to beat the other teams. If we will we get a free T shirt or a round of drinks for the nest session......I can be easily amused......

  3. It is colder than billy hell again here in good old Nrbraska. It is nearly 12:00 noon and 6 above zero. We do not live in the north pole but it sure feels like it. I have had lesions removed before and don't mind it but would rather not have them. Lucy
