IT WAS A BRIGHT AND STORMY NIGHT

Really, the weather forecast called for 1 to 3 inches of snow and what to my wondrous eyes should appear but 6 to 8 inches of snow.  HPIM1454

Right here is Chuck wiping  the snow off of his car.   The roads crews arrived about 10:30 to plow the street.   They have some sort of love/hate relationship with the small streets in our borough.   The main streets get done but the  people on the small streets languish in the snow.  There answer is it is not a main street, but do we get some sort of discount on the taxes we pay.  NO WE DO NOT  That is the main reason we own Subaru's, I love those cars.   Economical compared to an SUV and looks better too.HPIM1461

If you look closely at the upper right you can see tracks down from the trees, it jumped the fence and continues down the side of my yard.   The suspect was probably a white tailed deer.    There are everywhere….

  1. I do see the tracks in the snow, noticed them right away. Geesh, I see they can't predict your weather out there any better than they do around here. LOL.

They don't even bother to plow our roads - I never thought of asking for a tax credit. How far do you think I would get after they stopped laughing. ;)

    Stay warm & safe.

loved the picture of the footprints! I used to love watching Koda frolic through the snow and leave his own little pawprints

hoping it continues to warm up slowly but surely there

  5. All this snow is crazy isn't it? It's been snowing for over two weeks now.

  6. Looking at the tracks, the deer wandered up along the near side of the fence, jumping over before getting to the tree.

What a lot of snow! Especially when the city is banking on solar snow removal.
