Well, the weather people have done it again. The end of last week, and the weekend we were inundated with tales of doom and gloom relating to the potential of a Groundhogs Day Storm, to rival the worst of them.
Looking back on it, this threat had come without any storm formed at the present time. That should have been my first clue. The tales of woe spewed from the paper stated that there was a potential of 24 inches or more. Depending on the storm track, more if it went West and less if it went East.
Groundhog say is almost over and I haven't seen a freaking snow flake. I can do a better job, all we have to do is look outside and stick out our noses to get the weather forecast. They now say a potential of 1 inch tonight and possibly 1 inch tomorrow.
I will not believe them......I think they must have Xanax stock because they tell us these tales and everyone goes and takes an antianxiety medication when the hear about what potent storm is on the horizon. We can do better, we can have people report their weather in their blog. People who live west can post what it is doing, same with the people in the south and north.....We can just check the blogs and make just as good prediction at the NWS.
Today I had a student and it was her third day in the OR. Actually, I can not remember my first day, it was so long ago. At this point we will tell them what to do and the reason why...Honestly, I tell them someday it will all come together.....Orthopedics was today and ENT (ear, nose and throat) is tomorrow.....I do not think I have a student tomorrow.
I just checked the weather map and it looks like a lot of rain in the South East, that area is in a drought and I think you could use the rain.
