"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."

Charles Dickens

This is how I feel today, it is so cold outside, around 5 or 6F. The sun will be shinging brightly, but at least we did not get any snow from the 'Noreaster that hit the East coast.

I like winter till after New Years Day and then I am ready for it to go away, but it will hang around for another three months. Even though I get out I feel like I have cabin fever. I want to go and sit on the deck with a cup of tea and listen to the birds sing. Maybe I will just settle for a cup of tea right now.

  1. I loved the quote, so appropiate for today. I'm beginning to think Spring is on permanent holiday. (Hugs)Indigo

  2. I know what you mean about cold. We did get up to 75 yesterday. Big problem here in Ne. plants start comming up and then it goes back to winter. Our time changes Sunday and just old fashioned enough that I want it to just be the time I grew up with. Have a good dAY. lUCY
