RECOVERY

Henry now acts like his procedure never happened.   He is eating even his dry food.   He is eleven and having a difficult time jumping up on things.   Henry has me trained, he will sit on the floor below the window in the bathroom and meow for me to lift him up.

He used to jump on the sink then calculate his trajectory and leap onto the window sill.   He must have fallen sometime in the past year because he no longer does that.   He still can jump down.   Henry likes to peruse his back yard and look at the wildlife which is composed of chipmunks and squirrels.  There has never been a meeting of either of these rodents, but he would like to chase and catch them.

In three weeks Molly has to go and have the same procedure.  She is almost impossible to catch.   First I have to close the bedroom and basement doors and then the catch is on.   She will run and leap just out of reach to avoid being caught.   It is stressful for her and me too.

The only time she will come willing to me is when I am lying down and if I get up  she flees.  That cat is nuts for sure.

  1. I am glad that the older cat is doing well. Have you tried to brush it's teeth???? The other one sounds like a very lively animal
