On Sunday we went on a sojourn to Corning. Our goal that day was CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS and it was well worth the trip. At the entrance was a large glass piece by DALE CHIHULY He makes some beautiful and powerful glass creations.
Not a Chihuly:
The whole museum covered thirty five centuries of glass. It starts with today and goes back to BCE with the glass making. We were allowed to take pictures but no flash. Since every item was behind glass all you would see was a flash of your reflected light anyway.
The above flowers are made by Corning and are for sale. They have a huge gift shop and there is something for everyone.
