MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.

Pittsburgh Point

View from the hotel room.  This would be a great place to watch the 4th of July Fireworks, since at the confluence of the three rivers is where they are set launched.  But parking would be a problem since there is limited parking at the hotel and you would have to park in the city and walk to the hotel.

My daughter got ticket for last evenings Monday Night Football game.   Traveling in and out of the city is for someone with a lot of patience and nerves of steel.

We decided to get a hotel room and drive in early, have dinner and walk to the stadium.  The stadium is located in the upper right hand side of the picture, you can identify it by the yellow seats in the distance.

The walk is about one mile and mostly flat, there is a walkway over the bridge and I was surprised to see all the restaurants that have opened in the area near the stadium.

The game started out as a fiasco but the second quarter and beyond was great.   The attendance was 57,000 plus and there were a lot of people out walking about.  There is also a passenger train from the city to the stadium, I can imagine the wait for the train on game day.

A good time was had by all.
